PowerPoint Presentations in Maltese

Agenzija Appogg have designed a number of PowerPoint Presentations in Maltese that can be used as tools during talks to disseminate information about Internet Safety and Supportline 179-Hotline.  These can be used with young people, and can be provided upon request. Individuals who wish to obtain a copy of these presentations should contact us on 22959000 or email us on josef.a.mizzi@gov.mt .  These tools will be provided solely for educational purposes.

Epidemiological data report on missing and sexually exploited children of 2005.

This study is an epidemiological data report of the 2005 situation in Malta with regards to Missing and Sexually Exploited Children. It forms part of a research carried out in all EU member states, that can be viewed at www. childoscope.net

This study 'on the actual extent of the phenomenon of missing or sexually exploited children in the 10 EU-Member States' was published in 2005. This study covers the data for Estonia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Latvia, Cyprus and Malta and compares it with the already gathered information from 15 EU Member States.

Eurobarometer on Safer Internet for Children: qualitative study 2007

A qualitative study commissioned by the European Commission -  Directorate General Information Society and Media.  The study covers 29 countries including the 27 EU member states as well as Iceland and Norway.  It aims at improving knowledge about Internet usage by children, as well as mobile phone usage, children’s online behaviour and their perceptions of risk and safety related questions.  The study was conducted in Malta by MISCO International.

National Hotline on Child Abuse over the Internet Annual Report 2006

This report details the developments of the Hotline service along the year 2006.  The report focuses on the Maltese scene with regards to Child Abuse over the Internet. Between June and December 2006 Agenzija Appogg received around 12 reports of potential child abuse over the Internet per month, through the Hotline service.  The Hotline Annual Report also gives some insight on the projects for 2007.
