Various sponsors supporting Appogg Cottonera Community Services

Agenzija Appogg would like to thank the various sponsors who throughout 2009 have supported the Agency’s Cottonera Community Services.

The Agency would like to thank Omni Stat Ltd, Merlin Library, Grimaud Oilfields, Central Bank of Malta and Bank of Valletta for their support to facilitate the initiation of projects to the benefit of Cottonera and Kalkara Communities as well as support services users in their day to day living, thus improving her quality of life.

The Appogg Cottonera Community Services based at ACCESS Community Resource Centre in Vittoriosa, works closely with the Cottonera and Kalkara communities to facilitate and encourage a process of change within the community through participation. The main aims of this service are to enhance the local potential; embark ok projects that reach children, young adults and families aiming to minimize the risk of developing serious social problems; offer optimal individual and family social work services that are aimed especially at the most vulnerable in the community; whilst taking into consideration the context, culture and everyday life of the residents.
